WHITE GOLD draws from the legend of Mehr-un-Nissa, who appeared draped in seven near-invisible
layers of muslin-fabric so fine it felt like air. This idea of “woven air” anchors the collection,
where textiles are revealed slowly through light, movement, and touch, evoking a quiet sense of
wonder.
Inspired by the dragonfly, protector of cotton crops, silhouettes lift, settle, and shift with the
body—fluid, instinctive, and free. At its heart lies a return to cotton: familiar yet profound,
explored as memory, material, and possibility.
Rooted in India, imagined for the world, White Gold is an ongoing dialogue between past and future,
substance and air.
